Mirte Mallory is WE-cycle's Hub and Executive Director. An Aspen native, Mirte Co-Founded WE-cycle in 2010 out of her commitment to helping Aspen achieve its ambitious sustainability goals one pedal stroke at a time. She is passionate about sharing Aspen—by bike—with the community and visitors with the goal of reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality and furthering a more vibrant Aspen. Mirte is the Chair of the Pitkin County Planning and Zoning Commission and the Vice-Chair of the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies Board of Trustees. After graduating from Dartmouth College, Mirte pursued a post-graduate Reynolds Fellowship in photographic curating and continues to curate the Berko Collection, the work of her grandfather, Ferenc Berko, a pioneer in 20th century black and white and color abstract photography.
Dan Perl, WE-cycle's Operations Director, has lived in Aspen since 2006. After growing up in New Jersey and graduating from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, Dan made his way out west. He loves spending his free time on the river or on a bike, and when the WE-cycles hibernate for the winter, Dan works as an adaptive ski instructor on Snowmass Mountain.
Kellyn Wardell, WE-cycle's Program Manager, moved to Aspen in 2007. A graduate of Arizona State University, Kellyn joined WE-cycle in May 2016. She brings over eight years of managment experience to WE-cycle and is excited to be a part of a local non-profit. When not working, Kellyn can be found teaching yoga, backpacking Aspen's mountains, or planning her next travel adventure.
